The Breast Lift surgery is performed to help rejuvenate the appearance of the breasts after sagging has started to take place. The incision technique depends on the amount of sagging present and how much lifting is required to achieve the desired results. In cases where only a small amount of rejuvenation is required, an incision around the areola may be used. For cases where more lifting is required, the incision may be made around the areola and then down the center bottom of the breasts to the crease. During the Breast Lift procedure, Dr. Lichten removes excess, sagging skin and breast tissue and then may reposition the nipple and areola higher to better match the listen breast placement.
