Dr. Lichten performs a butt lift by removing excess skin creating a tighter and firmer shape. Some people combine a butt lift with gluteal implants and/or a fat transfer which help to restore lost volume and create a contoured result. Butt lift is usually done as an outpatient procedure and is performed under general anesthesia.
Butt lift is often combined with a mastopexy (breast lift), thigh lift or belt lipectomy.
