Skin Cancer Reconstruction Photos - Case #2739

Patient Case #2739

This 75 year-old-female had reconstruction of her nose following Mohs (dermatologic) removal of a skin cancer that left her with a defect of the side of the nose (ala).  Dr. Lichten repaired this with the use of a nasolabial flap–moving tissue from the patient’s own cheek to recreate the side of the nose–while hiding the scars in her natural skin folds.

She is very impressed with her minimal scarring and the restoration of her normal nasal appearance.
