This 51 year old woman underwent the process of bilateral breast reconstruction following mastectomy for breast cancer.  Results are shown after three surgeries and tattooing of her nipple areolar complex, all performed by board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Jason Lichten, in Lancaster, Ohio.  She had tissue expanders placed at the time of her mastectomies; replacement of the expanders with permanent silicone implants; creation of the nipples and areolas using tissue flaps and skin grafts; and finally tattooing of the nipples and areolas in the office.
